Concert Angel Guimerà, genius and figure, is a tribute to the Catalan poet and playwright on the centenary of his death.

(1845-1924), A show inspired, proposed and supervised by Francesc Cassú, with Elena Martinell as solo soprano and narrator and with a couplet created for this occasion with a selection of renowned couplet musicians. Music with texts from Guimerà himself will be reviewed from works by J. Viladomat, J.M. Tarridas, A. Guinovart, E. Morera, J.M. Damunt among others and we will have a premiere by Cassú himself, an arrangement in the form of a sardana of the popular theme “In Guimerà”.
