Quico El Cèlio, El Noi i El Mut de Ferreries + Cobla Reus Jove i Marcel Casellas – Jota X Cobla

The repertoire and songs of southern Catalonia, by Quico el Célio, el Noi i el Mut de Ferreries, interpreted through the Mediterranean sound provided by the Cobla Reus Jove. From this great fusion of genres and sounds, Jota X Cobla is born, a concert where the Tortosa group and maestro Marcel Casellas meet again to bring to the stage a whole musical work that resonates throughout the country: winds and voices from the north and south, smells of the earth and airs of the river and the sea. This proposal is also a tribute to the memory of Jesús Ventura, director, performer and composer of sardanas, and arranger of a good part of the pieces in this work.
