Roger Mas amb la Cobla Sant Jordi – Ciutat de Barcelona Vol. 2

A long-awaited return. An essential concert.

The unique repertoire of the singer-songwriter from Solsona is presented once again accompanied by one of the most solid and highly regarded coblas in the country: the Cobla Sant Jordi – Ciutat de Barcelona. The incorporation of the sound of the double reed, as well as the tight metal, together with the singer-songwriter’s usual instrumental accompaniment, envelop his pieces with great success. The arrangements by Mestre Guitó result in an emotional and attractively unusual dialogue.

The show is a journey around the world through great songs in Italian, French, Serbian, Spanish, Occitan and Catalan. The repertoire is completed by some unpublished pieces and new versions of emblematic songs from Roger Mas’ discography.
